UNIQLO UT Joins the May the Fourth Celebration
Presenting its latest range of ‘Star Wars’-themed apparel.
The official Star Wars “holiday” of May the Fourth is upon us, and with that is an exciting lineup of launches. While most drops are centered around merchandise, the six-episode animated anthology Star Wars: Tales of the Empire has just released as well. Joining the celebration this year is UNIQLO and its graphic t-shirt-oriented UNIQLO UT line.
The Japanese apparel brand has worked closely with the franchise for years now, landing in our round-up of the best Star Wars fashion collaborations of all time list from last year. This time around, the duo has looked to Star Wars posters from the past for inspiration. Four films are referenced across the six t-shirt designs: The Phantom Menace, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. All but The Empire Strikes Back are highlighted with one tee respectively, with Episode V celebrated on three tees.
For those looking to celebrate the special Star Wars holiday, UNIQLO UT’s range of six t-shirts is up for sale now via UNIQLO stores worldwide at a price of $25 USD per tee.
